I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Chicago State University and am pursuing a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. My experience includes supporting adults navigating trauma, co-occurring mental health concerns, challenges with self-esteem, and substance use. I strive to create a welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, and supported as we work toward the changes that matter to you.

My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I’ll listen to your concerns, respect your perspective, and work with you to find strategies that fit your needs and goals. Together, we’ll look at how your thoughts, feelings, and actions connect, build practical ways to cope with challenges, and take manageable steps forward. I’ll also consider how your culture, relationships, and life experiences shape what you’re going through.

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and discuss what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore your current concerns, relevant history, strengths, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll explain my approach, review confidentiality, and make room for your questions. You can share at a pace that feels comfortable, and together we’ll begin identifying goals and next steps.
