My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered and collaborative, meaning I work with you to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can process your thoughts and emotions. I strive to offer unconditional positive regard and provide helpful tools to cope with life's challenges, build awareness and knowledge of mental health concerns, and reshape negative patterns of thought and behavior.

Ultimately, my goal is to see you grow in meaningful ways, leading to increased acceptance and security in who you are, as well as a realistic vision for a hopeful future. What you can expect from me

I seek to be goal-oriented in sessions and will work to identify symptoms they may point towards a reasonable diagnosis in order to follow up with appropriate treatment goals.

My training includes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, polyvagal therapy, and shame-informed therapy, allowing me to offer a diverse range of therapeutic techniques tailored to your needs.
