Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Joy. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, life changes, behavioral concerns, and substance use.

My approach is compassionate, down-to-earth, and tailored to your individual needs. I provide a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and supported while developing practical coping skills and working toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, compassionate, and focused on meeting you where you are. I believe every person’s experiences and needs are different, so I tailor therapy to what works best for you. Together, we will explore how your thoughts, emotions, and experiences may be affecting your daily life while building practical coping skills and healthier ways of responding to challenges. I use a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach and strive to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported as you work toward your goals.
