Joy Miller is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas who has experience partnering with children, adults, couples, and families seeking help with a wide range of challenges that come with impairment of daily positive functioning. She received her B.S in Psychology and Child Learning and Development as well as her M.S in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She utilizes relational, collaborative and solution focused approaches in order to best meet client need at the present time.

Joy seeks to establish a warm, caring, genuine relationship with you in order to assist in building on your identified strengths and better collaborate with you or you and your loved ones towards meeting your goals and providing you with the tools to live the meaningful life you value and desire.

What you can expect from me

During our first session I will take the time to go over privacy practices, copayment information, gather background information about you and what brings you into therapy, as well as provide you with a brief summary of my background and experience and take the time to answer any questions you may have. From there we will work together to identify your goals and how I can best assist you on your journey.
