Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who believes mental health care should feel supportive, practical, and human. My background includes outpatient psychiatry, crisis stabilization, and substance use treatment, and I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and life stressors. I know reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely heard without fear of judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, direct, and solution-oriented. I believe in honest conversations, collaborative treatment planning, and finding realistic strategies that help clients function better in daily life. I use evidence-based medication management along with supportive therapeutic techniques, education, and lifestyle considerations to help clients move toward their goals. I want clients to feel empowered and actively involved in their care rather than feeling like they are simply being “told what to do.”

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know you as a person, not just a diagnosis. We will discuss your symptoms, history, stressors, strengths, and goals in a relaxed and supportive environment. I take time to listen carefully, answer questions, and begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. My goal is for clients to leave the session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about moving forward.
