Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! My name is Joy Roberts and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked with various populations and have a diverse background including people with trauma, crisis, depression, anxiety, and issues regarding self-esteem

My approach to therapy

I believe in taking a positive, whole-person approach to therapy. Finding balance in life often begins with building self-esteem and practicing healthy self-care. My style is person-centered, which means you’re in control—we move at your pace, and your comfort is always the priority throughout the process.

What you can expect from me

In the beginning, I focus on building rapport and getting to know your story. I never want you to feel uneasy or like you’re handing over your past to someone unfamiliar. I believe therapy works best when it’s rooted in trust, and we’ll always move at a pace that feels right for you.
