Great to meet you!

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic stress, burnout, relationship challenges, grief and major life transitions. Many of my clients - including male clients, professionals, parents, caregivers, and college students - seek support when they are feeling overwhelmed by family, career, relationships, global events, AI and technology. Some are experiencing patterns of overthinking or emotional exhaustion and notice a growing desire for more meaning in their lives, more purpose, balance, and direction in their lives as well. My Master's Degree and clinical license coupled with extensive work in agencies, clinics, and psychiatric hospitals, has given me broad and diverse training. My work has included clients from the trans and other LGBTQ+ community as well as with BIPOC individuals. My experience as a multiracial family member has afforded me both personal and professional cultural competency and insight surrounding topics of racial identity and racial injustice,

My approach to therapy

My therapy style is warm, practical, and collaborative. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral strategies, insight-oriented therapy and trauma informed care to help clients better understand patterns that contribute to anxiety, low mood, stress, or relationship strain. Sessions are focused on both gaining insight and learning realistic coping tools that can be used in everyday life - including calming the nervous system, reducing over thinking, improving communication, and building emotional resilience during times of change or uncertainty.

What you can expect from me

I know a first-time therapy session can be scary. My clients give me feedback such as - I'm kind, intuitive, supportive, non-judgmental, knowledgeable, and even funny! Clients often tell me that they experience our therapy sessions as supportive, informative, focused and affirming. Over time, people can notice greater clarity, increased confidence, improved emotional balance, and a stronger sense of direction and purpose. I strive to provide a respectful, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly, feel understood, feel validated, and move toward meaningful, sustainable changes in both your personal and professional life. I welcome you!
