I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Colorado State University-Pueblo. With 10 years of clinical nursing experience in the psychiatric field, I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings, including home care, military facilities, and inpatient psychiatric centers. My background has honed my clinical skills and ability to build strong rapport with my clients.

I rely on evidence-based guidelines, clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition in my practice. I am dedicated to providing quality, comprehensive, compassionate, and integrated care to patients across the lifespan. My passion for healthcare innovation drives my interest in integrating behavioral medicine into care for military families and underserved communities, with a particular focus on trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, and reducing mental health stigma.

I advocate for mental health, provide treatment and education during crises, and help patients develop self-management skills. Utilizing evidence-base approach for psychiatric assessment, medication management, and brief psychotherapy for clients ages 5-85. I believe in holistic, patient-centered care, working with clients to create treatment plans that address symptoms while minimizing adverse effects.
