Joyce Liu, MSN, PMHNP-BC, APN, is a master's prepared board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with prescriptive authority. Joyce graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). She also attended the University of Florida in Gainsville, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Joyce also holds a master's degree in clinical social work (MSW) from Florida State University in Tallahassee.
Joyce believes in partnering with clients to create a comprehensive treatment plan. Recommendations are based on a holistic approach, including counseling, medications, and lifestyle change strategies. Joyce values empowering clients to live a fulfilled and balanced life.
At Peak Interactive Wellness, Joyce provides medication management treatment for adolescents and adults with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, attention/concentration disturbances, trauma, behavioral issues, and substance use disorders. She has experience with substance use and mood disorder populations through her role as a nurse and social worker.
