Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I am deeply passionate about social justice and creating a therapeutic space that is inclusive, affirming, and culturally responsive. I approach my work with compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to understanding each person’s unique lived experience without judgment. I value authenticity and strive to create an environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions openly. Outside of therapy, I’m also a plant enthusiast having a wide collection of rare plants, this which reflects my appreciation for growth, patience, and the nurturing principles I bring into my clinical work.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, drawing from humanistic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused modalities. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic alliance grounded in trust and respect. From a humanistic perspective, I center empathy and unconditional positive regard. Through CBT, I help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and with solution-focused strategies, I support clients in recognizing strengths and moving toward practical, goal-oriented change. This flexible approach allows me to tailor treatment to each client’s needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a supportive and welcoming environment where they feel heard, respected, and understood. I focus on creating enough space for clients to share their story at their own pace while beginning to understand what brings them to therapy and what they hope to gain from the process. Clients can expect collaboration, transparency, and a genuine commitment to their growth. The first session is also an opportunity to start building a strong therapeutic connection and to ensure that they feel comfortable moving forward together.
