Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience helping individuals manage stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and major life challenges. I have worked extensively with Veterans, military personnel, and first responders, and I understand how difficult it can be to ask for help. I am also currently pursuing my Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) at the University of Kentucky. My goal is to create a supportive and respectful space where clients feel comfortable, heard, and understood.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, practical, and collaborative. I believe therapy should help clients better understand themselves while also learning tools they can use in everyday life. I use evidence based approaches such as CBT, CPT, DBT, and trauma informed care, while tailoring treatment to each client’s individual needs and goals. I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable and trusting therapeutic relationship. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you are currently facing, and what goals you hope to achieve. My approach is calm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative, and I want clients to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about moving forward.
