Great to meet you!

I understand people are often carrying far more than others can see.

Many people spend years carrying stress, trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, or emotional pain while feeling they have to hold everything together. Over time, that pressure can lead to burnout, depression, conflict, emotional numbness, or feeling disconnected from yourself and those you care about. Whether you're struggling individually or in your relationships, therapy offers a supportive, nonjudgmental space to better understand yourself, strengthen connections, improve communication, and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

Years spent in emergency medicine taught me something important: what people need most in hard moments is to feel that someone can hold it with them. That experience shapes how I work now. You don't need to soften what you're going through before you bring it to me. In our sessions, we focus less on analyzing everything and more on understanding what's actually getting in the way and what you want to build toward instead.

I pay attention to both the emotional and practical sides of what you're carrying, because those two things are always connected. Whether you're working through stress that won't let up, a relationship or family dynamic that keeps breaking down, or something that happened and won't leave you alone, we work from your strengths and what you already know about yourself.

What you can expect from me

We'll spend the first session getting oriented. I'll ask about what's been happening, what you're hoping will change, and what's already working for you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, with a clearer sense of what working together might look like. You don't need to have it all figured out before you come in. Reach out when you're ready, and we'll take it from there.
