Great to meet you!

As a Latina therapist, I understand firsthand the unique experiences of growing up between cultures—helping translate for my parents, navigating the expectations of two different cultures, and hearing that you have to work twice as hard to succeed. These experiences have shaped not only who I am but also how I connect with and support my clients.

I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive space where individuals from all backgrounds feel seen, heard, and valued. I have a special passion for working with Latino, BIPOC, and first-generation individuals as they navigate cultural identity, intergenerational trauma, family dynamics, relationship challenges, mental health stigma, and the pressures of academic or career success. I understand that finding a therapist who truly appreciates the complexities of these lived experiences can be difficult, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients on their healing journey.

With over 18 years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the honor of supporting individuals through life's most difficult transitions. I particularly enjoy working with millennials, high achievers, and those who feel overwhelmed by the demands of work, family, relationships, or major life changes. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, relationship concerns, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a space to gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

I believe healing happens within a trusting therapeutic relationship where you can show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment.

No matter where you are in your journey, you don't have to navigate it alone. I would be honored to support you as you move toward healing, growth, and the life you envision for yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and tailored to your unique needs, integrating evidence-based techniques from a variety of therapeutic approaches. Together, we will build on your strengths, explore the patterns that may be holding you back, and help you create a life that feels balanced, fulfilling, and aligned with your values.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know one another and exploring what has brought you to therapy. You may notice that I take an active and engaged approach, asking thoughtful questions and offering reflections to help deepen our understanding of your experiences. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and confident that this time is dedicated entirely to you.
