I have been a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) since 2016 and have worked in both primary care and mental health since that time. In 2024, I graduated with my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification and have been working strictly in mental health since that time.
My approach to treatment includes listening intently to what each client has to say. From there, I educate the client as to what their diagnosis or diagnoses are and then work with the client to find a treatment plan that meets their psychiatric and personal needs.
Every initial visit will include a comprehensive evaluation of physical and psychological issues, a discussion of current and past medications, and then working with the client to determine their goals for treatment.
