Great to meet you!

Life is full of change, moments of growth, loss, and transformation that can sometimes feel overwhelming or uncertain, and reaching out for support is a powerful first step. With over 20 years of experience working with adolescents and adults, I am honored to walk alongside individuals as they navigate these seasons and reconnect with their strength, clarity, and resilience. I approach therapy with compassion, curiosity, and genuine care, creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and valued just as you are. My therapeutic work is rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), complemented by mindfulness-based techniques to help deepen self-awareness and promote meaningful change. I specialize in supporting individuals, couples, and families through anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life stressors, and I’m committed to offering a professional, inviting environment where you can feel supported and empowered on your journey. I am fully license and practice virtually in IL, FL, CA and TX.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is strength-based, client-centered, and deeply collaborative, grounded in the belief that every individual possesses the capacity for growth and healing. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. Drawing from evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic principles, Attachment Theory, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I tailor each session to meet the unique needs and goals of the individual or family. I work closely with clients to identify meaningful objectives and develop personalized treatment plans that empower them to navigate challenges with confidence and clarity. Through this integrative and compassionate approach, I aim to foster resilience, insight, and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a therapeutic relationship grounded in safety, trust, and genuine care. I understand that starting therapy can bring a mix of hope and uncertainty, so my priority is to help you feel comfortable and supported from the moment we begin. During this initial meeting, you’ll have space to share what brings you to therapy, whether you’re navigating a specific concern, adjusting to a major life transition, or seeking greater balance and clarity. I will listen attentively, ask thoughtful questions, and work with you to identify your goals so we can begin shaping a personalized plan that feels meaningful and achievable. Clients often leave this session with a deeper sense of self-awareness, along with practical strategies to begin managing stress, emotions, or relationship challenges. You can also expect to learn coping tools, such as relaxation techniques, cognitive and mindfulness-based skills, and approaches that foster healthier communication and emotional resilience. Above all, my hope is that you leave our first meeting feeling understood, supported, and confident that you’ve taken an important step toward healing and positive change.
