Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Judith Irabor, a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I understand my patient's unique needs and provide personalized, compassionate care. I work with individuals of all ages to treat a range of psychiatric conditions.

I am committed to delivering patient-centered treatment that is tailored to each person's unique situation. As a dedicated listener and champion of patient safety, I strive to ensure my patients receive the highest quality of care, focused on their well-being

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect for each patient’s unique experiences and goals. I strive to provide non-judgmental, inclusive care tailored to individual needs, combining comprehensive assessments with evidence-based medication management and therapeutic interventions.

As a dedicated nurse practitioner, I aim to foster a supportive, calm, and nurturing environment where patients feel safe to explore their challenges. My goal is for every patient to leave each session feeling heard, valued, and empowered to move forward with confidence.

What you can expect from me

During your first session with me, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we focus on understanding your unique needs and establishing a collaborative therapeutic relationship. Here's what the session will typically involve:

Building rapport and establishing comfort through introductions and a discussion about what brings you to therapy.

I may ask about your personal history, including family dynamics, significant life events, and any previous experiences with therapy or mental health treatments, to gather personal and Medical History to gain a comprehensive understanding of your background.

We will discuss goals and expectations regarding what you (the patient) hope to achieve through therapy.

I'll provide an overview of the therapeutic approaches I use and what you can expect in future sessions. Then we'll outline a preliminary plan for your therapy journey, including scheduling future sessions and identifying any immediate strategies to support your well-being.

Remember, this first session is a collaborative starting point. It's okay to feel a range of emotions, and you're encouraged to share only what you're comfortable with. Our goal is to create a safe space where you can embark on your path to healing and personal growth.
