Great to meet you!

Many people come to psychiatric care feeling overwhelmed, misdiagnosed, or unsure why they still don’t feel like themselves. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults who are navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, and major life changes. With over 30 years of healthcare experience across Arizona and Kansas, I help patients make sense of what’s happening, understand their options, and build a clear, realistic plan so they can start feeling more stable, more in control, and more hopeful about their future.

My approach to therapy

I am dual certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, Drake University) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (post-master’s certification from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Sinclair School of Nursing). This dual background allows me to understand both the medical and mental health sides of care. My approach is collaborative, educational, and practical, I take time to explain diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and make decisions with you, not for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk through your symptoms, history, and what you want to be different in your life. From there, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, and practical tools to improve your day-to-day life. My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling understood, informed, and confident about the next steps.
