Great to meet you!

Hi there! If you are ready to try psychotherapy, I am ready to make the process as smooth and painless as possible, zeroing in quickly on what hurts, what's not working, what needs to be better for you to feel like you again. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities and use a supportive and collaborative therapeutic approach. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, career, relationships or are just feeling stuck, I'm ready to get you on the path to growth and healing.

My approach to therapy

Each person is unique and so is each treatment plan. I have advanced training in:

Internal Family Systems (IFS) and its idea that we all have adult Selves with the wisdom to guide us. In IFS the goal is to help integrate our parts so our true Selves can come forward.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based treatment that focuses on changing problematic patterns and deepening connection.

I also incorporate Behavioral Therapy, Insight Oriented Therapy and Mind/Body Awareness.

What you can expect from me

I come to psychotherapy with a background in the arts and I bring a creative and flexible energy to our sessions. I use a mindful approach where we explore how emotions feel in our bodies, not just in our heads. Together we will strengthen your existing coping strategies and adapt ones that no longer serve you. Ultimately we will work as a team to know and understand your parts, beliefs and identities and get you to a healthier and happier place.
