Great to meet you!

I served in the Educational, Administrative, Supervisory & Clinical disciplines for 40+ yrs. Currently, as a Clinical & Recovery Therapist in telepsychology, I specialize in women’s issues, trauma, depression/anxiety & addiction. I develop goal-directed treatment plans to augment intrinsic growth, behavior modification, & resolute commitment to recovery. My sessions include challenging therapeutic exercises, cognitive behavioral assignments & mindfulness interventions.

I am a Christian Provider but welcome those of ANY persuasion as long as we respect each other's right to differ. I work in a "JUDGMENT-FREE environment, whereby the focus is on "achieving wellness and homeostasis", not necessarily in total congruence and agreement. However, I am delighted if this optimally occurs as well.

My approach to therapy

My approach is a clinical partnership between the client(s) and me. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has the empirical evidence that it works when you work it! Rational Emotive & Behavioral Therapy (REBT) challenges us to "keep it real" and journey through the pain and trauma to the other side of recovery, renewal and revival. Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) teaches us to accept those things WE CAN NOT CHANGE and the wisdom to know the difference.

What you can expect from me

Each of my clients are encouraged to identify their most troubling symptoms, impairments, malfunctions and the triggers. Next, modify the troublesome symptoms by replacing and/or distracting them with new learned modalities, interventions and desired behaviors. Motivation is key!
