Great to meet you!

As a mature therapist with more than 35 years of experience, I bring both professional expertise and the wisdom that comes from a lifetime of helping people navigate life's challenges. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.

I believe that every person has the capacity to heal and grow. I work comfortably with people from diverse cultural, spiritual, and socioeconomic backgrounds and strive to create a warm, respectful environment where clients feel safe, heard, and genuinely understood. I love my work and consider it a privilege to walk alongside people as they create healthier, more meaningful lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs. I combine more than three decades of clinical experience with over 15 years of specialized training in somatic therapy, recognizing that trauma and stress are stored not only in our thoughts and emotions but also in our bodies.

Together we will explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, develop practical tools to manage anxiety and emotional distress, and process unresolved experiences in ways that promote lasting healing. My goal is not simply symptom relief but helping you develop greater resilience, healthier relationships, and a deeper sense of peace and fulfillment.

What you can expect from me

Beginning therapy takes courage, and I want your first session to feel comfortable and productive. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what's been happening in your life, and what you hope will be different. I'll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and help you begin making sense of what you're experiencing.

Together we'll identify your goals and discuss an approach that fits your needs. Many clients tell me they leave their first session feeling relieved, understood, and hopeful that they don't have to face life's challenges alone.
