Great to meet you!

For 35 years, I've had the privilege of helping people grow, heal, and transform their lives. I work with adults who have grown up in addictive/abusive/dysfunctional families, as well as adults who are navigating here - and - now life challenges. I welcome clients who are struggling with issues of self-esteem, compulsions/addictions, disordered eating, depression, anxiety, illness and pain. When someone is ready to embark on the journey of healing, I am honored to join in that journey with my skill, expertise, and compassionate presence.

My approach to therapy

I have a mind/body/spirit approach, with an emphasis on mindfulness and body awareness. I specialize in working with compulsive/emotional eating, body image issues, and the challenges of living with pain/illness/chemical sensitivity. I approach these issues from a holistic perspective, recognizing that there is no "one size fits all" method for recovery.

What you can expect from me

I am an experiential therapist in addition to being a licensed clinical social worker. I integrate a variety of experiential and psychodramatic techniques with verbal therapy, to support the development of new insights, behaviors, perceptions, and beliefs. Sessions might include guided imagery, movement, writing, role-play, and playful self-expression.
