Great to meet you!

I am glad you have reached out for support. It can be difficult and uneasy, but it is a brave step. It's common to feel anxious, uncomfortable, or hesitant to start therapy. I want you to know that I am here to support you as we get to know each other along your journey. I use a client-centered process, and I am dedicated to tailoring our sessions to meet your needs and goals. I want to create a space where you can feel heard and supported every step of the way. I look forward to meeting you and working with you. Loss and grief are an important area that I work with. And yes, loss of a pet is important and the grief is real.

My approach to therapy

I have additional training in trauma-informed therapy to be able to work with clients who have suffered trauma. Trauma comes in all sizes and shapes and does not discriminate in any way. I currently teach a Batterer's Intervention class (perpetrators of domestic violence) which gives me the ability to work with both partners as individuals.

What you can expect from me

At our first session we will talk about what you are looking to gain from therapy and how we can work together.
