Great to meet you!

For over a decade, I have worked as a licensed mental health counselor in both Atlanta and Seattle, supporting clients in looking underneath their symptoms of anxiety, depression, and burnout in order to build greater resilience and self-determination, as well as exploring the complex ways that past experiences shape our neurology, behaviors, and relationships.

My approach to therapy

My nature is one of open-mindedness, curiosity, and flexibility. I understand that we sometimes feel stuck as we don’t always have the bandwidth to examine our set-backs, automatic responses and thought patterns. Through a non-judgmental and compassionate therapeutic relationship, I seek to help you safely explore areas you may have previously avoided, building on your strengths to meet the unique challenges of your life with a renewed sense of hope and vigor.

What you can expect from me

While participating in therapy with me, you can expect an active listener, a collaborative problem solver, and an empathetic guide. While my approach is highly individualized and tailored to your specific needs, we will work on expanding your view of yourself and your relationships with a focus on facilitating greater self awareness, self compassion, emotional tolerance, and healthy coping skills. Ultimately, I believe that being understood is a powerful catalyst for change.
