Great to meet you!

I work with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, ADHD, and high-functioning autism spectrum concerns. I have particular experience supporting women in midlife and beyond, as well as individuals who are late-diagnosed as neurodivergent and navigating identity, relationships, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping clients better understand themselves while building tools that support lasting change.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has been practicing since 2006. I earned my MSW from Jane Addams College of Social Work and have worked in a variety of settings including inpatient treatment, substance use treatment, and private practice.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and whole-person focused. I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), narrative therapy, and current neuroscience to support both the mind and body in the healing process.

I begin with a foundation of unconditional acceptance and a collaborative relationship. While understanding past experiences can be important, much of our work focuses on current functioning—identifying needs, strengthening resources, and building practical skills that support meaningful change.

Above all, I believe in treating the person, not the diagnosis. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, develop compassion for their experiences, and create ways of living that feel more authentic, balanced, and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting a clear picture of where you are starting and what you hope to gain from therapy. We’ll review any necessary paperwork and complete a biopsychosocial assessment, but I aim for the process to feel more like a conversation than an interrogation. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and current challenges while also learning about your goals for our work together. When possible, My hope is that by the end of the session you feel heard, understood, and encouraged that meaningful, positive change is possible.
