Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing telehealth services for residents of Pennsylvania (PA) and New Jersey (NJ). I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Rutgers University.

I understand the meaning and seriousness of being invited into people’s lives, minds, and worlds. I consider my work as a therapist to be a privilege. My goal is to create a supportive, welcoming space where you feel empowered to overcome life's challenges.

To me, the therapeutic relationship is at the core of our work. Without a relationship based on trust and mutual respect, the potential for meaningful change is limited. Everyone shows up with their own experiences, perspectives, and strengths that make them who they are. And there are also universal human needs, emotions, and experiences that connect us all. It is at the intersection of these two points that growth and change are possible.

Therapy should be a safe space to examine current maladaptive patterns, explore their origins, and experiment with new ways of being that are more aligned with your ideal self.

My approach to therapy

My approach is an integrative mix of modalities, rooted in attachment and relational therapy. Some of my preferred approaches to draw from are Interpersonal Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Therapy is a deeply personal process and each individual has unique needs and preferences. My experience with a variety of modalities gives me the flexibility to tailor the therapeutic work to each individual.

My practice is also influenced by my background as a substance use counselor. I am passionate about this work and it has helped me to cultivate an approach that is direct and to-the-point while maintaining an emphasis on compassion. This field has taught me that while change and personal growth are usually complex and require commitment, the payoffs are enormous and transformative to people’s lives.

What you can expect from me

Authenticity, curiosity, compassion, humor, and flexibility.

Therapy is a collaborative process that requires authenticity on both ends as well as an approach based on curiosity and understanding. We will work together to discuss what brought you to therapy, review your history, and create goals that feel relevant and achievable to you. By the end of the first session, it is my hope that you feel seen, understood, and empowered to begin working toward your goals.
