Great to meet you!

I offer a genuine partnership to individuals and parents who feel a disconnect between the life they are living and the one they want. I provide a non-judgmental space for those navigating the impact substance use has on their life, their relationships, and their sense of self. My goal is to work with you to gain a better understanding of your current situation and help you define your next steps.

My perspective is shaped by over six years of professional work focused on supporting families navigating substance use, alongside my role as a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC1). This experience, combined with decades of personal insight into these same patterns, allows me to provide a grounded and authentic partnership. Together, we move toward finding a sustainable way of living that aligns with your values.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and practical. I work with you to understand the role substance use plays in your life and how it impacts your personal aspirations. I utilize solution-focused tools, including Motivational Interviewing and CBT, to help you identify specific behaviors you'd like to change while defining how you want your future to look - both in your individual identity and in your relationships. For those navigating the impact of a loved one's struggle, I incorporate evidenced-based strategies from the CRAFT model (Community Reinforcement and Family Training) to help you move past powerlessness and reclaim your own sense of balance.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a space for us to begin exploring your story. I will listen and ask intentional questions to gain a better understanding of your specific needs, wants and desires for our work together. We will begin to identify the hurdles you are ready to explore, whether you are navigating your own relationship with substances or managing the impact of a loved one's struggle. You can expect a straightforward, two-way conversation focused on gaining insight and clarity on a path forward that aligns with your vision for how you want to feel and show up in your life.
