Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist in Florida and Connecticut specializing in supporting seniors, older adults, and medically complex patients navigating chronic illness, health changes, grief, anxiety, and major life transitions. My work centers on helping individuals who have spent a lifetime “pushing through” finally have a space where they can slow down, feel understood, and receive steady emotional support.

My background includes extensive experience with chronic illness, medical trauma, caregiver stress, mobility changes, and the emotional impact of aging. I understand how health challenges affect identity, independence, relationships, and daily life. I help clients make sense of these shifts with compassion and clarity. Whether you’re adjusting to a new diagnosis, grieving a partner, managing multiple medical conditions, or feeling overwhelmed by life changes, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

My approach is warm, grounding, and practical. I blend trauma‐informed care with real‐world strategies to help you reduce anxiety, manage stress, cope with grief, and regain a sense of control. I meet you exactly where you are, emotionally, physically, and medically. We move at a pace that respects your energy and capacity.

I’m committed to creating a safe, supportive space where your experiences are honored and your voice matters. Together, we’ll work toward steadiness, clarity, and a renewed sense of meaning in this chapter of life.

My approach to therapy

Eclectic treatment approach blends trauma‐informed care, CBT, person‐centered therapy, mindfulness, and solution‐focused strategies, allowing tailoring of each session to your medical needs, emotional capacity, and personal goals. This flexible, individualized method ensures therapy fits your life, your health, and your pace.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a calm, welcoming space where you can slow down, breathe, and talk about what’s been weighing on you. Many of my clients in Florida and Connecticut are older adults, seniors, or individuals managing chronic illness, new medical diagnoses, mobility changes, caregiver stress, grief, or anxiety. We move at a pace that respects your energy, comfort, and health needs.

We’ll begin by exploring what brought you to therapy: the health changes, losses, stress, or life transitions that have been affecting your daily life. You can share as much or as little as you feel ready for. I’ll ask gentle questions to understand your medical history, emotional needs, and the goals you hope to reach. Whether you’re in Ocala, Marion County, or anywhere in Connecticut through telehealth.

You’ll learn what therapy with me looks like: a steady, supportive partnership focused on reducing overwhelm, managing anxiety, coping with chronic illness, and helping you feel more grounded and in control. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your lifestyle, your health, and your capacity. Whether you’re navigating Florida’s healthcare system or accessing care from home in Connecticut.

Most clients leave the first session feeling lighter, understood, and relieved to finally have a space where their medical and emotional experiences truly matter.
