Ever since I can remember, I have had a passion in helping others. Throughout college I worked as a firefighter/EMT where I attained hands-on experience responding to emergencies. My experience working as a first responder greatly influenced my future to pursue a career in social work. It allowed me to understand the importance of learning about mental health, understanding emotions and developing healthy skills in order to grow as a person and overcome the hardships we go through.

In my practice, I use a person centered approach to work with clients in a supportive and safe space. Utilizing aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy, I work collaboratively with client’s to create goals towards making positive changes in their life.

I have a passion as a therapist in working alongside adults facing challenging life stresses, grief and loss, trauma, and life adjustments. Therapy is a collaborative process and I strive to meet client where they are at and help guide them towards their goal. Mental health affects us all in one way or another, and I am hoping to help you step forward into growth and bloom with grace.
