Great to meet you!

I believe in the dignity and worth of all people. I have 18 years of experience working in health care and providing therapy. I have witnessed first-hand people becoming anxious, depressed and overwhelmed when their lives transform due to illness or changes out of their control. I listen with empathy and compassion and help individuals adapt and adjust to changes in their lives.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy from a holistic viewpoint. Our mental, physical, social and spiritual health are all interconnected. I have been with individuals in their most difficult times of distress and sorrow and provide a space of compassion where feelings and thoughts can be discussed openly, without judgement. I provide individuals with coping skills that strengthen and empower them to work through life challenges.

What you can expect from me

It is not uncommon to feel anxious or apprehensive on a first therapy visit. I will provide a warm and non judgmental environment. A typical first session will be gathering information about you, assessing for depression and anxiety and discussing your goals. I use the following therapeutic modalities that I have found help people have healthier and happier lives: Strength-Based, Mindfulness, Holistic, CBT, Solution Focused, ACT, DBT and Family Systems.
