Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm glad you're here. I am a licensed psychologist with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology, dedicated to helping young people navigate the emotional and psychological challenges that come with chronic medical conditions. My practice focuses on supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they cope with diagnosis, treatment, and the day-to-day realities of living with a chronic illness. I work closely with each young client and their family to build practical coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and improve overall quality of life.

My approach to therapy

I utilize questions, measures, and a biopsychosocial framework (considering medical, psychological, and social factors) to understand what is contributing to youth's functioning and distress. Therapy is trauma-informed and includes teaching evidence-based skills and frameworks (e.g., cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), behavioral intervention, skills from dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and parent management) to improve youth's quality of life and help them meet their identified goals. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where individuals feel understood and empowered.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a supportive, collaborative environment where we work together to address the emotional impact of living with a chronic medical condition—whether that's managing anxiety, building coping skills, or navigating family and school challenges. My goal is for every client to leave sessions feeling supported, equipped with practical tools, and steadily moving toward greater emotional well-being.
