Great to meet you!

I have experience working with adolescents and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds who are navigating addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and other mental health concerns. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing begins when we feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

I believe deeply in the transformative power of talk therapy — not as a quick fix, but as a process that helps people uncover the roots of their struggles and build a relationship with themselves that is grounded in compassion rather than criticism.

In our work together, my goal is to help you reconnect with your inner strength and capacity for self-healing. I provide tools and insight to help you make authentic, meaningful, and self-directed choices — so you can move toward a life that feels more aligned, balanced, and your own.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and collaborative — I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, goals, and pace. I draw from several evidence-based modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Attachment-Based Therapy.

In our work together, I view you as the expert on your own experience. My role is to help you understand the different parts of yourself — the ones that protect, the ones that carry pain, and the ones that long to heal — so that you can move from self-criticism toward self-compassion.

Therapy with me is both insight-oriented and practical: we explore the deeper roots of your struggles while developing tools that support lasting change in daily life. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, authentic, and empowering — where real transformation can happen.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my focus is on creating a space that feels safe, warm, and genuinely welcoming. You don’t need to have everything figured out — we’ll begin by exploring what brought you to therapy and what you hope to find here.

I bring my energy, empathy, and deep respect for each person’s story into every session. Together, we’ll start to uncover the patterns, beliefs, and emotions that may be limiting your sense of peace or fulfillment. My goal is to help you begin building a healthier relationship with yourself — one grounded in compassion, curiosity, and hope.

From our very first meeting, I’ll work to help you reconnect with your strengths, challenge disabling assumptions, and take small, meaningful steps toward a fuller, freer life.
