Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Julia!

Taking the first step toward personal growth is a brave and meaningful decision, and I’m here to support you on that journey. I hold a Master’s in Psychology from St. Francis College and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Mental Health Counseling from Alfred University. As a Clinical Supervisor, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through life's challenges and mentoring future therapists. I specialize in working with people who are ready to look inward, whether you're navigating anxiety, healing from trauma, or simply trying to understand yourself more fully. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to explore what you’re carrying without judgment, shame, or pressure to fix yourself. With training in trauma-informed care, multicultural counseling and psychopathology, I bring both heart and skill to the work that we'll do together.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in a client centered foundation. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, empowered, and truly seen. I blend this compassionate style with evidence based practices from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors connect. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be holding you back and build practical tools to support meaningful change. My style is warm, down to earth, and interactive, and I specialize in working with anxiety, relationship challenges, self worth, grief, depression, and life transitions. At the core of our work is a goal to help you feel more connected to yourself and more confident moving through the world.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel genuinely seen and supported in a space where they can show up exactly as they are. Our work together will be guided by goals that matter to you whether that’s quieting self-doubt, finding more peace, or navigating relationships with more clarity and confidence. I aim to create a warm, honest, and affirming environment where healing feels both possible and deeply personal.
