Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Julia!

I’m a trauma-informed therapist in Florida and Washington with years of experience working with complex trauma in teens and adults. I specialize in supporting people who have survived difficult, layered experiences and are ready to feel more grounded, more connected, and more in control of their lives. I’m trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and I integrate these approaches in ways that are practical, compassionate, and tailored to you.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, seen, and met exactly where you are, not where you “should” be. Whether you’re navigating overwhelming emotions, dissociation, relationship struggles, or family strain, we’ll move at a pace that feels steady and manageable. When I’m not in sessions, you’ll probably find me hiking, reading, or watching a good horror movie. I believe in the power of stories; the scary ones, the painful ones, and the ones where resilience wins. Your story matters, and I'd love to help you feel more in control of how it unfolds next.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating or nerve-wracking, so my goal in our first session is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and able to show up exactly as you are. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, talking about what brought you to therapy, and exploring what you hope might feel different in your life. I take a collaborative approach, which means we’ll work together to identify goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you. There’s no pressure to share everything right away, and you won’t be judged for where you are in your journey.
