Great to meet you!

Hi there- I'm Julia!! I’m a compassionate, Licensed Mental Health Counselor who believes therapy should feel like a safe space to be heard, understood, and supported—with room for a little humor along the way! I support clients as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, relationships, emotions, and personal growth through an approach tailored to their unique needs. My goal is to help you build practical coping skills, better understand yourself, and create meaningful change—one step at a time!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I believe you know yourself best, and my role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can work together to better understand what you’re experiencing and identify what feels most helpful for you! I tailor my approach to each client, drawing from evidence-based strategies to support emotional regulation, coping skills, self-awareness, relationships, and personal growth. Above all, I strive to create a genuine, comfortable, and welcoming environment where you can feel safe being yourself and know that you don’t have to navigate things alone. Let's be human together!

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where we can get to know each other and begin exploring what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, goals, and what you hope to get out of therapy, while also giving you space to ask questions and share what feels comfortable. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together moving forward. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—we’ll take it one step at a time!
