Great to meet you!

As a therapist, I understand that life is nuanced—especially when we live between cultures or identities and in relationship with others. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with a strong relational focus that integrates compassion and cultural sensitivity. I provide individual, couples, and family therapy, helping clients notice and shift relational patterns shaped by past and present experiences while cultivating balance, self-compassion, and deeper connection with themselves and one another.

Being bicultural myself, I understand the complexities of belonging, identity, and the ways culture influences how we relate—to others and to ourselves. Whether you’re navigating stress, trauma, relationship challenges, or questions of identity, I offer a safe and grounding space to explore emotions, strengthen connection, and heal at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, compassion-focused, and culturally sensitive. I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and grounded in curiosity about ourselves rather than judgment. Together, we explore the connections between your past and present experiences, emotional patterns, and strengths.

I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with mindfulness-based and other evidence-based approaches, to help you relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions and reconnect with what matters most to you. My goal is to support you in discovering your authentic self through meaningful insights that foster clarity, healing, and self-compassion.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions to understand your background, current concerns, and what you hope to get out of our work together. There’s no pressure to share everything right away — we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and a bit clearer about what therapy with me might look like.
