Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Dr. Torres, a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience helping children and families navigate life's challenges with greater ease and connection. Whether your child is facing anxiety, grief, behavior concerns, or social struggles, I provide a warm nurturing space where they feel supported. I partner with parents to build emotional resilience, healthy communication, and lasting change. My approach is creative, strengths-based, and rooted in the belief that healing begins when kids feel safe to be themselves.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative and client centered. I believe in building strong trust and safety with my clients. I use a mix of Family Systems, Play Therapy, Structured Family Therapy, EMDR, CBT, Written Exposure Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness techniques to help clients manage symptoms, explore their past, and move forward toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel seen, heard, and supported as they work through challenges and move toward meaningful growth. Together, we'll set clear, achievable goals based on needs whether that's building coping skills, processing trauma, improving relationships, and increasing self-worth.
