Great to meet you!

As a School Counselor and Social Worker in a public school for the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with students from PreK through 12th grade. For the past five years, I’ve also had the opportunity to provide counseling to adults.

Throughout my career—and as a mother and grandmother—I’ve gained a deeper understanding of the challenges and transitions that life can bring. I believe that sometimes we all need someone who will listen, understand, and help us find a way forward.

I look forward to meeting with you, learning more about what you’re experiencing, and exploring how I can support you along the way.

My approach to therapy

I know that reaching out for support isn’t always easy, which is why I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where we can explore what you’re going through together. My goal is to help you build confidence, recognize your strengths, and discover that you already have many of the tools you need to navigate life’s challenges. Sometimes, you just need someone to walk alongside you and help you find them.

What you can expect from me

My sessions are client-centered and guided by what you need and hope to accomplish through counseling. I believe it’s important to understand what brings you to therapy, what you would like to be different, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We’ll set meaningful short- and long-term goals that give us direction while allowing room to adjust as your needs change. My goal is to work alongside you at your pace, helping you move toward the changes and outcomes that matter most to you.
