Great to meet you!

I have over a decade of experience working with children, individuals, and families navigating crisis, challenges, concerns and stressors. Many of the women I work with are navigating trauma, grief, parenting stress, or questions about identity and attachment while trying to build a healthier path forward. I also support children, teens, and families, including those facing medical trauma, chronic illness, or life-limiting conditions. I have advanced degrees in human development as well as clinical mental health counseling, and am trained in EMDR.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and grounded in trust. We explore patterns, understand how past experiences shaped your nervous system and relationships, and build practical ways to regulate emotions.

What you can expect from me

I get that it is vulnerable to share with someone new about the ways that life has been hard. Our first session is all about getting to know each other, and establishing comfort with me and the process of counseling. Building trust takes time and I don't expect it from the beginning. We will go at your pace, discussing your hopes and goals as well as some possible paths forward. I know that people come to counseling oftentimes for pain or hardships, but I also hope to begin to get to know you as a person and what is important to you.
