Great to meet you!

Hello, I am a bilingual, also fluent in Spanish, Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received a Bachelor Degree from Southern Connecticut State University and continued my education at New York University where I earned a Master degree in Social Work.

My experience includes working with people across the entire life span. I have a decade of clinical experience working with individual, group, and couples therapy. I have a speciality in working with victims and aggressors of domestic violence, personality disorder, as well as College students with mental health challenges.

My approach to therapy

My passions include supporting adults from diverse backgrounds in navigating mental health challenges such as complex trauma, anxiety and depression, life transitions, victims and aggressors of domestic violence, personality disorders, family and relationship issues. I use a psychodynamic approach to therapy, with particular focus on the therapist and client relationship, while also incorporating other practical methods such as CBT, DBT and solution focused interventions.

What you can expect from me

I focus on enhancing your self-awareness through exploration of your childhood upbringing, values and belief system, relationships, complex trauma and how it influences your unconscious behavioral patterns. I aim to help you understand your defense mechanisms and make adaptive changes to enhance your sense of self and relationships to improve your overall quality of life.
