Great to meet you!

Life can look fine from the outside while feeling overwhelming on the inside. You may be carrying anxiety, depression, relationship stress, past trauma, low self-esteem, or simply feeling like you've lost the version of yourself you want to be. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to figure it out alone.

I'm Julian, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with individuals and couples looking for more than temporary relief. My goal is to help you understand what's been keeping you stuck, build practical tools that fit your life, and create meaningful, lasting change. I strive to provide a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment while feeling genuinely supported, understood, and challenged to grow.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be collaborative because no two people bring the same experiences into the room. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences that have shaped where you are today while building on the strengths you already have. My focus isn't simply reducing symptoms. It's helping you create a life that feels healthier, more balanced, and more connected.

My work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and other evidence-based approaches. Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, stress, low self-esteem, or major life transitions, therapy will always be tailored to your unique goals and needs.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply a conversation. We'll talk about what's been weighing on you, what you'd like to change, and what meaningful progress looks like for your life or relationship. There's no pressure to have everything figured out before we begin.

Clients often describe me as compassionate, approachable, and easy to talk to. My hope is that every session leaves you with greater insight, practical strategies you can use outside of therapy, and the confidence that meaningful change is possible. My goal is to help you leave therapy feeling stronger, more connected to yourself and others, and better equipped for whatever comes next.
