Great to meet you!

Hello there! I earned a bachelor's and a master's degree in clinical psychology. My Ph.D. is in counseling psychology. I am a hybrid of both. I decided to specialize in the psychometric testing and treatment of severe mental health concerns, which, at the end of the day, is human suffering. However, I have also worked with individuals with existential and spiritual concerns. My clinical interests and continuing education range widely.

My approach to therapy

First and foremost, a strong therapeutic relationship based on deep understanding, safety, and trust is of utmost importance.

Once that foundation is set, the implementation of evidence-based interventions that are adapted to the individual comes second. Without a strong therapeutic relationship, all psychological interventions will be ineffective.

What you can expect from me

We will determine whether I am a good fit for you and can help with your presenting concerns. My priority is for you to find the right therapeutic relationship. I am more than happy to refer you to another professional who can help you if we are not a good match. Fit is so important for effective therapy.

If we collaboratively determine we are a good fit for each other, I spend the rest of the time on your goals for therapy and gathering details of your presenting concerns. I will also explain how I conduct therapy and what you can expect during our sessions.
