Great to meet you!

Hey, I’m Julian, and the fact that you’re even looking for a therapist tells me you’re already doing something brave. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a U.S. Army veteran, and someone who genuinely loves this work. I bring a lot of warmth into the room, but I’ll also be real with you when it matter, because I think you deserve both. My style is collaborative and structured, we’ll use proven tools like CPT, CBT, and DBT to actually get somewhere together, not just talk in circles. If you’re ready to show up for yourself, I’m ready to show up for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, direct, and evidence-based, I use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to give our work structure and real direction. I specialize in trauma and PTSD, and I’m comfortable going to the hard places with you, that’s exactly where the most meaningful work happens. I tailor everything to the individual because no two people carry the same story or need the same path forward. My clients often describe me as someone who challenges them while making them feel completely supported, and that balance is something I’m intentional about. If you’re ready to do the work, I’ll be right there with you every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really about getting to know each other, there’s no pressure to have everything figured out or to dive into the deep end right away. I’ll ask questions to understand what brought you in, what’s been getting in the way, and what you’re hoping life looks like on the other side of this work. By the end of our first session you’ll have a clear sense of how I work, whether we’re a good fit, and what a plan forward could look like. I want you to leave that first appointment feeling heard and like you actually have some direction, not just like you survived an intake form. Come as you are, that's always enough to get started.
