Great to meet you!

I am a down-to-earth, approachable therapist with over a decade of experience supporting teenagers, young adults, and their families. Many clients arrive hesitant about therapy but quickly find a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where they can talk about anything. I strive to be responsive to each person’s life experiences, including gender- and race-based toxic stress and trauma. I completed my training at Boston University and spent several years working with a multidisciplinary team at a safety-net hospital.

My approach to therapy

My approach is interactive: I ask questions and offer feedback rather than just listen. I help clients stay focused on the reasons they came to therapy and the changes they want to make. I am nonjudgmental and create a safe space for discussing difficult topics.

What you can expect from me

In the first session we’ll focus on what brought you to therapy and the changes you hope to make. I’ll ask about any prior mental health treatment and get to know your background. You remain in control of what you share and when you choose to share it.
