Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! I'm Juliana Schone, compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor, proudly serving teens, adults, and parents in need of support and guidance with Anxiety, Trauma, ADD and Depression in Texas. Originally from Brazil, I have journeyed across continents to call the United States my home, bringing with me a deep-rooted passion for helping others navigate life's challenges with grace and resilience.

A Journey of compassion and Understanding

My journey into the field of counseling began with a simple yet profound desire: to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who are struggling. Guided by this unwavering commitment to compassion and understanding, I embarked on a path of education and self discovery, earning my Master degree in Mental Health, after twenty years in education as a teacher and School Counselor and diving headfirst into my passion the world of mental health.

My own experiences have shaped me into the professional I am today, instilling within me a profound sense of empathy and compassion for those facing adversity. I understand firsthand the courage it takes to confront your innermost fears and vulnerabilities, and I am deeply honored to walk alongside my clients on their journey towards healing and self discovery.

My approach to therapy

Holistic approach

Throughout my career, I have developed a specialized focus in treating anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder and social anxiety. I believe that anxiety is a complex and multifaceted condition that requires a holistic approach to treatment, addressing not only the symptoms but also the underlying factors contributing to distress.

Multicultural approach

As someone who has lived and worked in diverse cultural settings, I bring a multicultural perspective to my practice, creating a safe and inclusive space for clients from all walks of life to explore and address their concerns. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, ensuring that language is never a barrier to accessing quality mental health care.

Personalized approach

I believe in the power of individualized care, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each client. Whether you're seeking relief from anxiety, navigating life transitions, or simply looking to enhance your overall well-being, I am here to provide you with the support and guidance you need to thrive.

What you can expect from me

During a therapy session, we will work together to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a safe and supportive environment. I will provide you with guidance, feedback, and evidence-based techniques to help you address your concerns and achieve your goals. It's important to note that while I can't promise specific outcomes, as a therapist, I adhere to our ethics code, which prohibits guaranteeing results.
