Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with specialized experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults who have had exposure to trauma. My background includes years of work in both schools and private special education settings, where I developed expertise in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and stabilization. Many of the individuals she works with also navigate challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mood disorders.

My approach to therapy

I recognize that traumatic events and significant life stressors can overwhelm the nervous system and disrupt a person’s sense of self. I believe the therapeutic relationship serves as the foundation for meaningful healing, and I approach each client with a strengths-based, collaborative process that honors their unique developmental stage and life circumstances. Grounded in a trauma-informed perspective, I integrate a variety of individualized evidence-based interventions. My approach draws from a variety of modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), attachment theory, person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, psychoanalysis, and mindfulness practices.

What you can expect from me

I begin with an introductory session to get to know you and better understand your goals for therapy. This initial meeting is an opportunity for us to start building a trusting relationship and create a safe, supportive space where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and what’s important to you.
