Great to meet you!

I am a Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist with over 30 years of experience in providing psychotherapy and psychological and neuropsychological diagnostic assessment and treatment. I specialize is treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, impaired cognition working primarily with adults and elderly patients. I obtained my doctorate in psychology at the University of Denver and my postdoctoral degree from the UCLA Neuropsycolgical Institute.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy involves an interactive relationship between the client and the therapist. As a psychologist I guide clients to help them understand the core underlying issues that are affecting their psychological wellbeing and are standing in the way of actualizing their potential. I use a combination of psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques to teach clients coping skills to manage emotional distress and disruptive thoughts. As a neuropsychologist I also work with ADHD, post-stroke, dementia and head injury patients and caregivers.

What you can expect from me

The first session is to determine if we are a good “fit” in terms of your treatment goals, and my therapy approach to help you reach those goals.
