Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree from NYU and several years of experience working with adolescents and adults in private practice and community mental health settings. I have supported people from a wide range of backgrounds and identities, with particular experience working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, family, social, and romantic relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, grief, and identity or gender exploration. My integrative approach draws from cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance based therapy, DBT skills, mindfulness, psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapies, and solution focused and strengths based practices. I offer a warm, culturally responsive, and trauma informed space where you can show up as you are, understand yourself more deeply, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaboration and that you are the expert on your own life. A trusting, authentic therapeutic relationship is central to our work, so I prioritize creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and understood. My role is to listen with curiosity, offer new perspectives, and help you explore patterns while developing practical ways forward. I bring culturally responsive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and trauma informed perspectives to every session. Together, we’ll shape our work around your individual needs, experiences, and goals, adapting our approach as they evolve.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting relationship. You’ll have space to share what brings you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I may ask about your background, current concerns, and what has or has not felt helpful in the past. You’re also welcome to ask questions and discuss what you need from a therapist. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and creating a path forward that feels supportive and realistic.
