Great to meet you!

As a dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 23+ years of nursing experience, I believe prioritizing mental health is essential to living a balanced, fulfilling life. Taking the step to seek help isn’t always easy, and I’m glad you’re here.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is warm, collaborative, and individualized—I believe in meeting you where you are and creating a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. I take time to truly listen and understand your experiences, then work with you to develop a treatment plan that may include medication management, therapy-informed support, and practical coping strategies. I also incorporate a holistic perspective, recognizing that mental health is influenced by many areas of life, not just symptoms. When appropriate, I use tools like GeneSight testing to help guide medication choices and improve outcomes. My goal is to walk alongside you, providing encouragement, clarity, and support as you move toward healing and stability.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a relaxed, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace. I’ll take time to understand your concerns, history, and goals, and we’ll begin identifying what’s working, what’s not, and where you’d like to see change. Together, we’ll create an initial plan that may include medication management, supportive guidance, and practical next steps tailored to you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of direction moving forward.
