Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an R which means I did 6 years post-Master’s supervision with a LCSW. I attended New York University and received my MSW degree in 1992. I have 30 years therapy experience and I specialize in neurodivergence and grief. I have supervised social workers in NY obtaining their clinical licensure. I also taught 8 years in the MSW Program at Fordham University and for 10 years in the Undergraduate Social Work Program at Lehman College.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a variety of interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based, Mindfulness, Trauma-focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Attachment-based Therapy, and Positive Psychology.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to be empowered to do the work to get better. They will receive homework some of the time. I will apply necessary interventions based on client history and identified goals. I am empathetic but direct and will give feedback on how I see your improvement or lack of progress in achieving your goals.
