Great to meet you!

I seek to help clients feel confident in their ability to make choices, learn healthy communication skills, and strengthen their relationships with others.

I have 30 years experience working with adults (ages 20-90+), adolescents, families, and couples. I have my master's degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder and I obtained my license as a Professional Counselor in 1996.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in helping people with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, stress, trauma events, developmental stages throughout a life span, adolescent development and mental health, and family systems.

I utilize cognitive-behavioral techniques, solution-focused brief techniques, mindfulness in order to practice being in the moment, talk therapy in relation to thoughts, feelings and assumptions, a family systems approach, and holistic approach so treatment is tailored to the client.

What you can expect from me

The environment is warm and open for clients to tell their stories and understand how feelings "just are" and they can change their thoughts to mirror the life they desire. My clients set goals in the present, so they have the ability to reflect on their progress, and refine their goals in real time when needed.
